Feed My Starving Children

IMG_20110816_110007.jpgFood straight from the Feed My Starving Children factory in Minnesota!  This could be the most nutritious meal they will have during the week.  I had recently volunteered with a group from PTC to pack food at Feed My Starving Children.  I enjoyed seeing the other end where the food is delivered.  You will notice that the eggs have been added to this meal which provide some extra protein for the women.

While over at the Maternity Center today we had our medical insurance application papers filled out by a RN.  Hopefully we can finish appling for medical insurance before the month comes to a close.  Being in Haiti is proving the process to be a little difficult.  Prayer for that would be great.

  1. Hey way to go you too. Melissa, I am very proud of you for doing what you really love. You and Ryan are in my prayers. I love you both, and look forward to reading more blogs. Keep up the good work.
    Love,
    Katie and family

  2. Loved the Feed My Starving Children blog. The Summer Stretch kids at St. John’s packed food this summer. It will be fun to share this connection (and picture) with them! We’ll pray for a speedier process for you on the insurance!
    God bless,
    Linda, Bob, Margaret and William

    • That is so cool the St. John’s kids did that! I will see if I can get more pictures in the future. Thank you so much for your prayers!

  3. I feel like I am experiencing your lives with such wonderful stories.
I am seeing answers to prayer already with your luggage and now running even if it is running around roosters and rocks.
I trust your medical insurance will be completed soon.
God considers you strong and courageous and so do I as you are aptly attached to the vine and His great love.
I know someone interested in being a Heartline volunteer 🙂 How do they proceed to become one?
