The first picture on top is the village where the guest house is located. This is a safe community where there are some very nice houses compared to most others in Port Au Prince. The current people running the guest house is Barry and Rebecca. They have an amazing story of how they came to Haiti and Heartline.
Here are some pictures of the inside of the Guest House. The idea is that it is a sanctuary for missionaries and other visitors. The big groups will be out in the field and working hard during the day and the house allows for some down time and ability to process everything they have seen and accomplished during the day. The view on the top is really incredible especially in comparison to some of the other places. There is a gift shop as well that is a nice quick access for buying some Haitian made gifts. They are incredibly resourceful with what they have been given.
There are about seven Haitian workers at the guest house. There are some that cook and prepare the food and others that help with the grounds and house maintenance. The house can have up to 30 some people. More info can also be found on the Heartline webpage.
I will add more posts and pictures of the streets view of Haiti. Much different then the pictures of the Guest House.

When you’re in God’s perfect will there is no reason to be fearful. So Hurricane Irene will be a hurdle you will fly over. Enjoyed talking to your Dad tonight Ryan as we were concerned about about your safety. Hunker down and know Angelic protection surrounds you. Keeping the Haitians in prayer as well.
Thanks Connie for your prayers!
Blessings to you, Melissa and the whole team. We declare this: Let nothing stand in your way of all The Lord has called you to accomplish. You have a wonderful web site Aww the wonders of modern technology..
