We have purchased tickets to Port Au Prince, Haiti!  We are excited to meet the Heartline Ministries group.

It’s actually a two day journey on the way there.  Believe it or not but there are no airlines that go straight to Haiti in a day.  We will be chilling out in Miami, FL for the night on the way down and then take a one hour flight in the morning over into Port Au Prince.  Coming home will be all in a day… a very long day!  We found it much cheaper to fly out of Chicago.  It made more sense anyway since the weekend we return from Haiti we were planning on being in Milwaukee.

On another note.  Tomorrow we will be having one of Jenna’s friends over to check out the house.  They are thinking about renting it… maybe we could get them to buy it 😉  I will let you know how that goes.
We are continually praying for God’s direction.  God gave us an awesome promise:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

We are truly trying to listen and hear his voice.  We praise God for this opportunity to visit Haiti.  We love you and are so thankful for your prayers, encouragement and sometimes just your listening ear.
