Well, well, well… this is going to be interesting! Tropical hurricane Emily about to sweep over Haiti and Florida. Right about the time we are in Florida. To be honest, I am not worried… should I be?
What a strange feeling having your life in suitcases. It is going to look so funny hauling our four checked bags (just under the 50lbs limit), guitar, two carry-on bags and a purse around! If I saw us at the airport with all that luggage, I would be saying to Melissa, “Those crazy people, who in the world needs that many clothes for a summer vacation!” I look forward to any strange looks we get 😀
August 3rd is the beginning of our travels with a layover in Miami, FL. We officially arrive in Port Au Prince, Haiti on August 4th around noon. Note: If you would like the details on flight times, etc. Send me an email or add a comment to this post and I will send them your way.

God’s blessings on your new adventure Ryan and Melissa! My heart just breaks reading your blog though. I’ve done a terrible job keeping in contact when you were just 1 hour away! Was hoping that we could have got together before you left. I miss you Chaka! Please stay safe and who knows maybe you’ll be seeing Aaron…he’s been talking a lot about going. Our prayers will be with you.
